'And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.' - Colossians 3:14

So, tonight I had dance practice and one of the things that we've started doing lately, which I love, is connecting on a more personal level. We talk about our church, our personal lives, the body of Christ. It's just awesome because It, not only, allows us to get to know each other but it unites us. It brings us together on one accord because we know what we're moving toward together as a ministry and we know what we're going through so we can intercede for one another in prayer.

One of the things that God's word talks about is putting on love which binds us together. I believe it's an action of love when you take the time to learn about the people that you're in ministry with. You take the time to fellowship with them and show interest in their personal lives, their thoughts on life and their walk with Christ. It means so much more than just coming together to dance or sing without truly knowing the people you're ministering with. Tonight, we talked about some major issues in the body of Christ in today's world. We talked about our church and our personal lives. It was really great to fellowship and unite in this way. It is my goal to continue to do this as I push forward in ministry because unification is love and unification is power.
